Hera is the Queen of the Olympians gods and She the wife and sister of Zeus and Daughter of Cronus.Hera was known for her jealous and vengeful nature, most notably against Zeus's paramours and offspring, but also against mortals who crossed her.

Mythology

Hera (pronounced /ˈhɪərə/; Greek Ήρα, Hēra, equivalently Ήρη, Hērē, in Ionic and Homer) was the wife and one of three sisters of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon of classical Greek Mythology. Her chief function was as the goddess of women and marriage. In Roman mythology, Juno was the equivalent mythical character. The cow, and later, the peacock were sacred to her. Hera's mother was Rhea and her father, Cronus.

In the Series

Jay's mentor and Queen of the Gods and acts as principal of Olympus High. All the other gods (and faculty of Olympus High School) answer to her. The animal she is associated with is the peacock, which she is sometimes seen with. Cronos is her father, which makes Poseidon, Hades, and her husband, Zeus, also her brothers. Like her student, Jay, she is a natural leader and was the patron goddess who championed his ancestor, Jason. As with Jason, Hera seems to take an active role in assisting Jay in his role as leader. She can take the form of a flaming phoenix.

Personaility and Physical Appearance

• Hera is depicted as a stern , regal and natural leader. Even though she rarly shows much emotion toward the Heroes She truely cares for them and worries when they are in danger , expecially Jay .

• In her more Youthful years , Hera was Depicted as a muscular but still feminine women wearing a Golden Armour and a black skirt with Brown Hair . Currently She is depicted as Elderly women with a Commanding presence wearing a White Toga with Blue square trims .
